Saving view information

TotalView 6.7 added the ability to write memory views to disk as text. At version 6.8 (which will be release later this month-April), you'll be able to write this information into an HTML file. Unlike the text version, which is a static display of the data, the HTML version is interactive, allowing you to display and hide information. You can write this information be selecting the button to the right of the Memory Debugger's Generate View button.

Rather than discuss it, we've placed a sample on our web site. Here's the URL:

Bonus Tip

If you need to show people how to use TotalView, you may want them to look at our evaluation document. This document is sent to people who request a demo download of TotalView. However, it can also tell them about basic features within TotalView.
